We are excited to announce the hiring of Brian Carson as our new Director of Sacred Music and School Music Teacher. Brian has tremendous experience in developing a music program at a parish, and we are thrilled he is with us - we are very lucky! Not only will Brian be directing our choirs and cantors, he will also be teaching our kids in our school! Brian and his wife Cathy have two children, one who just completed college and another just entering. Brian has worked for the past 18 years at Saint Louis King of France parish in downtown St Paul. Brian begins with us on June 15, 2020
We again want to express our public thanks to Maggie and Anna for their years of leadership and work with our cantors and choir. These young women stepped in at a pivotal time, during a big transition, and did a stellar job. We thank them for their graciousness and adaptability, and for their commitment to serving Christ with their voices and talent.

BACK TO SCHOOL
Come to celebrate the beginning of the new school year! Students will have their school pictures taken (no uniform required), meet their teachers, and can bring in school supplies to avoid stuffing backpacks full on the first day. This is also a chance to connect with other SJB families, and take care of any last minute paperwork or payments. Please join us! Prospective families are welcome as well!

Congratulations to St. John the Baptist Church Parishioners and School Alumni, graduating from Jordan High School Class of 2019!
TOWN HALL MEETING
Coming off the heels of a very successful Stakeholders meeting with our various leadership committees (Finance Council, Parish Council, School Advisory Council, Trustees, etc.), it is now necessary for us to have a parish-wide & school-wide town hall meeting to discuss the future of Saint John the Baptist Catholic School. This will be a positive conversation discussing enrollment decline, financial difficulties, and the many opportunities to improve our school.
Please join us for this VERY important meeting on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26, 2019 at 6:30pm in Louis Hall.
It would be helpful for us, if you would RSVP by filling out the form on this webpage: http://bit.ly/SJBJordanTownHall
